About the Photographer

Since the mid 1980s, Houston based photographer Iraj Ghavidel, has been making a name for himself with his bright and conceptually strong images. Perhaps the most important factor in Iraj’s success has been his concentration on education. From the day he purchased his first camera at age 11, he constantly sought to increase his photographic knowledge.  He considers himself a lifetime student and never ceases to learn and develop the newest techniques. He studied fundamentals of photography and photographic printing in high school and college and later he studied under some high-profile photographers while developing his own style. He's taken thousands of personal and professional photos abroad and in the States and has photographed well-known local and national personalities. Iraj is a Certified Professional Photographer and also holds the “Master of Photography” degree through PPA. He is known among his peers for his meticulous work ethic, a relax approach and his “nothing but perfection” attitude has brought him nothing but satisfied clients.
